Seacoast Girls Fast-Pitch Softball League
Summer Meeting 2008!
The annual Summer
Meeting of the SGFSL will be held on Wednesday June 11th at
the E. Kingston Elementary School at 7:00pm. The League team
fees are as follows:
U-10 $ 65.00
U-12 $140.00
U-14 $140.00
If you wish for the
league to register your team under ASA please add twenty dollars
($20.00) to each amount. ASA registration provides a rulebook,
scorebook, along with official blank roster for your use in league
ending tournament.
For those unfamiliar with the summer format it is essentially the
same as spring league with games played during the week and ends
with a weekend tournament. The one major difference is that towns
are allowed to join together if they are unable to field a team from
within their own town. This is not only permissible but encouraged
as the goal of the league is to provide an opportunity to as many
girls as possible. So, for instance if
E. Kingston has 6 girls interested in playing and Kensington had 5
girls they could join together to form one team.
Even if you only have a couple of girls interested please come to
the meeting and hopefully you can form a team with a couple of the
other coaches in the same situation. Individual girls (parents) are
welcome if they just want to have their child join with an
established team. (If available)
New towns and teams are always welcome and if you are interested in
entering a team(s) we cordially invite you to attend the meeting or

The meeting will consist of reviewing league rules, procedures,
setting dates and places for the year end tournament and most
importantly scheduling games for the Summer League.
